Identify the clinical features and symptoms associated with macular edema.
Screen high-risk patients, such as those with diabetes or a history of retinal vein occlusion, for the development of macular edema.
Apply evidence-based treatment strategies for managing macular edema, including anti-vascular endothelial growth factor therapy, corticosteroids, and laser therapy.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure timely intervention, minimize delays in treatment, and optimize patient outcomes in the management of macular edema.
