Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be better able to:
Identify suitable candidates for aortic valve repair based on a comprehensive evaluation of valvular anatomy, pathology, and patient-specific factors.
Screen patients effectively using echocardiography and other diagnostic tools to determine the severity of aortic valve dysfunction.
Assess the suitability of patients for aortic valve repair versus replacement, considering factors such as age, comorbidities, and valve morphology.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff, to provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing aortic valve repair.
