Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be better able to:
Identify the clinical features and risk factors associated with peritoneal cancer.
Implement evidence-based diagnostic modalities, including imaging studies and laboratory tests, to confirm the presence and stage of peritoneal cancer.
Apply multidisciplinary treatment approaches, such as cytoreductive surgery, intraperitoneal chemotherapy, and targeted therapy, based on individual patient characteristics and disease stage.
Collaborate with oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients with peritoneal cancer.
