• Identify the historical features, demographic factors, signs, and symptoms signifying that a patient may have indications for permissive hypotension.

• Compare permissive hypotension's benefits and risks with various resuscitation strategies for stabilizing patients with severe trauma.

• Implement effective communication and coordination strategies within an interprofessional team caring for patients with severe traumatic injuries, especially when performing permissive hypotension to improve outcomes.
