Identify patients who are appropriate candidates for teriparatide therapy based on established clinical guidelines and individual risk factors for osteoporotic fractures.
Differentiate between teriparatide and other pharmacological agents used in osteoporosis management, understanding their mechanisms of action, efficacy, and safety profiles.
Apply evidence-based strategies to optimize teriparatide therapy, considering individual patient characteristics, preferences, and treatment goals.
Implement communication among interprofessional team members to monitor teriparatide use in osteoporosis management.
