Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be better able to:
Identify the signs and symptoms associated with atrioventricular block to facilitate early recognition and diagnosis.
Differentiate between different degrees of atrioventricular block (first, second, and third degree) based on ECG findings and clinical presentation.
Apply evidence-based treatment strategies for atrioventricular block, including medication management, temporary or permanent pacemaker implantation, and other interventional procedures when indicated.
Collaborate with cardiology specialists and other healthcare professionals to develop a comprehensive care plan for patients with atrioventricular block, considering their unique clinical circumstances and comorbidities.
