- Describe the major wound closure techniques.
- Summarize the three underlying principles of proper suture technique.
- Outline risk factors that may produce less than optimal wound healing.
- Explain the importance of collaboration and communication amongst the interprofessional team to ensure the appropriate selection of candidates for wound closure and its technique.
