• Identify the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying otosclerosis, recognizing the abnormal bone remodeling process in the otic capsule, leading to stapes fixation and resultant conductive and sensorineural hearing loss.

• Differentiate between conductive and sensorineural hearing loss through audiological examinations and clinical assessments, aiding in distinguishing the specific patterns associated with otosclerosis for appropriate management.

• Assess the efficacy of pharmacological interventions and surgical options for otosclerosis in halting disease progression or managing symptoms.

• Collaborate with an interprofessional team to improve care coordination for patients with otosclerosis.
