- Identify the etiology of acute mesenteric ischemia.
- Describe the typical presentation of a patient with acute mesenteric ischemia.
- Explain the treatment and management options available for patients with acute mesenteric ischemia.
- Review interprofessional team strategies for improving care coordination and communication to enhance detection of acute mesenteric ischemia and decrease the time between patient presentation and initiation of treatment.
