- Summarize the mechanisms of action of lidocaine as an anesthetic, antiarrhythmic, and during airway management.
- Identify the various indications for the use of lidocaine.
- Outline the typical presentation of a patient with lidocaine toxicity.
- Describe strategies to reduce pain when injecting lidocaine topically.
