Identify serum imbalances of calcium, phosphorous, parathyroid hormone, and vitamin D in patients with chronic kidney disease–mineral bone disorder.
Assess fracture risks and cardiovascular complications associated with chronic kidney disease–mineral bone disorder by ensuring timely detection and intervention for optimal patient care.
Select appropriate phosphate binders and vitamin D supplements according to the patient's needs and laboratory results.
Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to provide comprehensive care for patients with chronic kidney disease–mineral bone disorder, integrating expertise for a holistic approach to the treatment.
