Implement systematic screening protocols in clinical settings to identify individuals at risk of body dysmorphic disorder, especially among those seeking cosmetic or dermatological procedures.
Implement evidence-based interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and medication, as part of a comprehensive treatment plan for patients diagnosed with body dysmorphic disorder.
Coordinate care across various healthcare disciplines to ensure a holistic approach to diagnosing and managing body dysmorphic disorder, along with addressing its impact on patients' overall well-being.
