Identify actinic keratosis accurately through clinical examination and recognition of their characteristic features.
Screen patients for actinic keratosis during routine skin examinations, particularly in individuals with cumulative sun exposure and other risk factors.
Apply evidence-based treatment modalities for actinic keratosis, including lesion and field-directed therapies, considering individual patient factors, treatment goals, and patient preferences.
Communicate effectively with patients about actinic keratosis' diagnosis, treatment options, and expected outcomes, ensuring they understand the importance of treatment compliance and long-term sun protection.
