- Summarize the mechanism of action of various antifungal antimicrobials.
- Identify the approved indications and contraindications of antifungal antimicrobials.
- Review the adverse events and toxicity of antifungal antimicrobials.
- Explain interprofessional team strategies for improving care coordination and communication with antifungal antimicrobial therapy to treat mycotic infections to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
