Identify the appropriate indications for amphotericin B therapy based on the type of fungal infection and patient characteristics.
Implement proper dosing and administration strategies for amphotericin B to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes while minimizing toxicity.
Assess the patient's response to amphotericin B therapy by regularly monitoring clinical symptoms, laboratory parameters, and adverse effects.
Determine a plan with other healthcare professionals, such as infectious disease specialists and pharmacists, to optimize amphotericin B therapy and ensure comprehensive patient care.
