Recognize the clinical features and presentation of cylindroma lesions, including their slow-growing nature and predominance on the scalp and face.
Implement pretreatment embolization techniques into surgical management plans for patients with sizable or multiple cylindroma lesions to reduce intraoperative bleeding.
Select appropriate genetic testing modalities and referral pathways for patients suspected of having Brooke-Spiegler syndrome based on clinical presentation and family history.
Collaborate with interprofessional healthcare providers to optimize the diagnostic and management approach for patients with cylindroma lesions to achieve optimal outcomes.
