Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be better able to:
Identify the risk factors for clear cell carcinoma of the cervix.
Assess the clinical presentation of a patient with clear cell adenocarcinoma of the cervix and implement the appropriate diagnostic techniques and imaging modalities necessary for diagnosis.
Differentiate among patients with clear cell carcinoma who are candidates for various current treatment options, including fertility preservation options.
Collaborate with members of an interprofessional team, including gynecologic oncologists, medical oncologists, gynecologists, pediatricians, and family medicine practitioners, to provide efficient, comprehensive, coordinated, and timely care.
